DISADVANTAGES AND LIMITATIONS
In certain areas hair removal is not permanent: facial area.
It does not remove grey hair.
It does not eliminate fine and fair-coloured hair
It is expensive.
It cannot be performed on tanned patients.
It is contraindicated in pregnant women and patients who have received isotretinoin or photosensitizing drugs.
It cannot be used on patients who have very high phototypes.
Its use is complex and requires previous training and supervision by medical personnel.
It may occasionally cause burns on the skin.
