SHAVING

It is the most frequently used method in the world. The technique is very simple: the area is soaped and shaved passing a razor blade over the skin.

Advantages: it is very fast and cheap.

Disadvantages: sensitive areas may become irritated. When shaving is performed quickly (especially with triple-blade razors) the risk of pseudofolliculitis or “buried hairs” increases. When facial hair grows back after shaving it is harder, darker and pricklier than non-shaved hair, but the amount remains the same.
