Hair Removal Methodds - Advantages And Disadvantages

In western culture, facial hair does not correspond with an acceptable feminine appearance.

A study performed in Europe showed that 10 to 40% of women remove some facial hair at least once a month.

Studies show that the amount of facial hair considered unacceptable by the general population from a social point of view, making patients uncomfortable and self-conscious, is less than what doctors would classify as clinical facial hirsutism. The excess of facial hair is a problem with physical and psychological consequences that can lower self-esteem and self-confidence in women.

This disorder can even drive affected women to avoid physical contact with others, affecting their personal, social and professional relationships.
